Row Home Renovation
Size: 2895 sf
Bedrooms: 4
Bath: 3.5
Outdoor Space: 3rd Floor Terrace
This project was especially fun to work on because the client gave full creative control for the redesign of this space. The property was in feeble condition, but still had good bones. We saw this as a great opportunity to fully modernize the layout. Adding features like an open concept first floor with transition from the new over-sized chef's kitchen in the front of the home to the dining and entertaining spaces towards the rear.
The bathrooms were also re-designed with a cohesive blend of functionality and ambiance in mind. Private lavatories were added in the larger primary and third floor guest baths. Additionally, we decided to forego a tub in the primary, and spend resources on a palatial walk-in shower.
Outdoor space, while limited on this property, was still a must have for our client, so we made sure to finish the existing alley way space with lighting, and utility access for grilling, gardening, or heavy cleaning. Complementary to the alley, every square inch of the third floor terrace was reconstructed to be strong and functional as an outdoor living space. Great for morning coffee, or evening refreshments.
